American Monument Co. has been serving the southern IL region with quality crafted monuments for over 30 years. The original business was started over 80 years ago by Harold Adams, the original owner. Harold sold the business to William J. Patterson in 1988 to train the next generation of monument craftsmen. In 1998 American Monument Co. was then purchased by Mr. Patterson’s son, Scott. Scott shared a passion in providing quality, unsurpassed memorials with a special touch, and started growing the business. American Monument Co. is now owned by Scott and his two sons, Kyle and Garrett. American Monument Co. is proudly growing and training the companies third generation of craftsmen.

The methods and techniques to make monuments may have changed over the years, but our desire to provide the best memorials possible has not.
